Welcome to Project Silence, a clique for those who feel discrimination against the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender community is not just wrong but unacceptable. This clique believes in promoting more than tolerance; it believes in promoting acceptance of the GLBT community and treating this community with the respect and equality it deserves. This clique was originally started by the wonderful Eddy, who graciously allowed me, Skyler, to take it over.

From the official site: The Day of Silence is an annual event held to bring attention to anti-LGBT bullying, harassment and discrimination in schools. Students and teachers nationwide will observe the day in silence to echo the silence that LGBT and ally students face everyday. The Day of Silence is one of the largest student-led actions in the country.

REMINDER: Since the International Day of Silence date varies every year, please check dayofsilence.org every April for updated details.
